Lawrence Dallaglio

So Lawrence Dallaglio both fractures and dislocates his ankle, the dislocation fixed there and then on the pitch before he is carted off. (I’ve twice had a dislocated shoulder in a rugby game and yes, you do want it popped back as soon as possible but it’s bloody painful.) His next action?

Despite the trauma, Dallaglio thought to make sure that his Lions
jersey was left on the dressing-room peg for his opposite number, Colin
Bourke, who has vowed never to wash it.

Of course, trivial matter, overgrown schoolboys and their sense of what is right and wrong, male nonsense about the "right thing to do". But what a mensch, eh?
