Interesting news on the French vote on the Constitution. As we know, it will probably be a Yes, given the authorities habit of flying in votes from the overseas territories, as they did on the Maastricht vote, but I did note this:

With successive polls putting the No campaign narrowly ahead, President
Jacques Chirac appears to have been keeping a low profile after each of
his three personal interventions in the debate has been followed by a
new surge of support for a No vote.

But there may be a chance for a rejection for this is the plan:

Mr Chirac is expected to address the French people in a broadcast on Thursday, his fourth in a campaign.
