This would lead to a shortage of politicians which is an added benefit.

1) I don’t like politicians.
2) I don’t like foreign politicians.
3) I don’t like unelected politicians
4) I don’t like economic idiots.
5) I don’t like people telling me how to live my life.
6) I don’t like the EU.
7) I don’t like social democrats.
8) I don’t like the very concepts of social democracy.
9) I don’t like people who wibble at me.
In short, I don’t like unelected social democrat foreign politicians running the EU and telling me how to live my life while proving themselves to be economic idiots and wibbling at me about the joys of social democracy.
