Talking About The Real Job.

Interesting result from a group of researchers who use our sort of materials.

Interesting that 10 years ago no one really seemed to know what to do with scandium, now it’s at the heart of the hydrogen economy. This work with buckyballs to make hydrogen storage tanks (we didn’t supply these guys but we have to people doing similar work) and as the electrolyte of choice for solid oxide fuel cells.

Now all we need is a couple of million people (coff, coff) to visit the ads in the previous post and I can build my factory to bring cheap scandium to the masses.

    So who produces scandium?
Tim adds: Currently nobody produces very much. A bit from Chinese rare earth mines but most of world consumption comes from ex-Soviet era stocks. Still a good five year’s worth there.
