Us West Country Boys.

Us West Country Boys have always had our suspicions about Dorset…similar to the Normal for Norfolk thoughts. This story has it all, slightly dim father:

Mrs Cronin, 38, said the father, Tuan, who is 16, watched his son being
born. "He knew something was going on and stayed glued to the window
and wouldn’t move."

Very young mother:

11 years old, endured a 55-minute labour to give birth

Broken families:

would not know how to care for her baby because she was an orphan and
had never had the opportunity to learn the secrets of maternal care.

Instinct taking over (after all, it must eh? Otherwise the county would be empty):

"She has been attentive from the moment he was born. When he grizzles,
she immediately showers him with little kisses so that he knows she is
around."

In fact, it’s so much what people like me (born in Devon, raised in Somerset) expect of our near neighbours, I’m really not sure why the Telegraph ran the story at all.
