Don’t These People Have Fact Checkers?

The MSM has a lot of fun at the expense of blogs, thinking that we don’t have fact checkers for example, whereas they do and everything is rigorously checked before going to print. There might be the odd red face in the LA area today given this little howler in the LA Times:

The 56-year-old prince’s two sons — Prince Edward and Prince Harry —
were both reported to be delighted at the news of their father’s
marriage.

A little message to those who employ Michael Kinsley.

This is Prince Edward.  He looks a little old to be  Princess Diana’s
son really doesn’t he? Born in 1964 it would be a little difficult for him to be delivered to a girl who was three at the time.

In contrast, this handsome young fellow is Prince William, who is in fact Charles’ and Diana’s son and is second in line to the Throne.

Prince WIlliam

There, that wasn’t so tough now was it? MSM nil, Blogs 1. Does this mean I can get a job as a fact checker? More likely, it means that Mr. Weasel Bearder can as it was he who brought this to my attention.

  1. Awww, give ’em a break. All large-toothed, horse-faced, inbred English aristocrats look alike to us Yanks!

  2. Just wanted to say. I’ve been enjoying your blog recently. Say Hi to Jules for us and send us an e-mail now and then.

  3. The list is getting pretty long

Okay, so at this point it’s Trent Lott, John Kerry, Dan Rather, and Eason Jordan. That’s not bad. Trent Lott said something stupid, didn’t have the grits to apologize and kowtow, and the blogs push the media into driving him
