Bunny takes apart the TUC’s response to allegations of sick note Britain. Only one comment, I thought the numbers on such benefits were much higher, closer to 3 million than 1.5 but that’s probably just my memory playing tricks.

According to the TUC’s figures, there are 2.7 million people registered as Incapacity Benefit claimants, but only 1.478 million of them actually receive any benefits.
So almost 5% of the whole country is registered under this scheme.
