So the EU has fired the whistleblower. She was right, the Commission knows she was right, admits she was right, yet fires her anyway. Even more worrying:
A commission statement yesterday listed a series of staff violations mostly entailing breach of loyalty and lack of “discretion”, but the commission refused to specify the exact offences.
Un Huh. We’re going to fire you but we won’t tell you what the charges are so you can’t defend yourself. Really great boys. If that wasn’t bad enough, the people firing her know she was right:
A leaked memo to Mr Kinnock from the EU’s senior auditor said her claims were “factually and substantively correct” and her suspension “would be a serious blow to reform, sending a signal that the old ways of keeping things from happening still work”.
Well done Neil, really, well done. You couldn’t have provided a better example of why we need to get out. You take your 2.3 million pension pot and we’ll consider it a lesson cheaply learned. You can’t trust Brussels.
Delenda est EU.
