From today’s New York Times, about the Census Bureau Report:
A Bush campaign official suggested that the census report was misleading because it did not reflect the economic growth of the past 11 months. In fact, the report covers all of 2003.
Lessee. It’s now late August. That would mean 8 months into 2004. So a report that uses data up to end 2003 would not include 8 of the past 11 months in its workings. Mmm, yes, the Bush campaign official would seem to have a point, no?
