PayPal Spam

So into my email box comes a piece of spam purportedly a response to a PayPal payment I made to a site called DaGoddess. Hhhmm. Not heard of her so obviously it must be fake. Indeed, it had a virus (caught by the system thankfully) . So, no problemo. Just out of curiosity, go and look at the purported site and found this very good joke. She also appears to be one of Lt Smash’s friends in San Diego. So, a good joke found as a result of receiving a piece of spam with a virus. So it’s not all bad then is it? Although I have a feeling that there might be less worrying ways of being alerted to good copy.

  1. seems that our brief e-mail exchange once upon a time has left us both the victims of opportunistic spammers and hackers.
With everyone hijacking bloggers’ e-mails and domains, nobody’s safe.
    Sigh.
