Last month I wrote that someone would start interpreting the slowdown in the creation of new jobs as being further proof that Bush Lied. You can see the prediciton here.

I’m not sure that DU are good enough with numbers to think this up themselves so look for it in an NYT op ed first.
Or am I just being cynical?

Well, I have to admit that I was wrong. It was not an NYT op-ed. It is on today’s NYT business pages.

Job growth slowed sharply in June, the government reported yesterday, pulling back from a recent period of strong employment gains and casting doubt on the vigor of the nation’s economic expansion.

Sheesh.
